This raises serious concerns about the protection of individuals\u2019 privacy and rights.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"1084\">The International Organization for Human Rights and Refugee Affairs has observed early signs of a global trend to use these technologies to track the movements of marginalized communities, which could restrict their access to protection or essential services if legal safeguards and ethical standards are absent.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1701\">In this context, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hashtag\/%D8%B9%D9%85%D8%A7%D8%AF_%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A8%D9%8A_%D9%85%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%B1_%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%AA_%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%A9?__eep__=6&amp;__cft__[0]=AZW-Qrw9QhrfRwpe8qSbxi_wVQEwwinfGhYcuwbP7XWCmoMuqvbViUFvlnL69F4dB04HJhxA7o8UN7FqDuLNybJKZMy8jOS0PI9MHPz9rRldDrjCoajRmJ3rFkJf4sHvjPCokx9LfRTZhStRyZ9Vcnvpz4WvnWAS6qyYSr8CaTQc5A&amp;__tn__=*NK-R\"><strong data-start=\"1103\" data-end=\"1205\">#Imad_Rukbi, Director of Public Relations for the Middle East and North Africa at the Organization<\/strong>,<\/a> noted that:<br data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1221\" \/><em data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1418\">&#8220;Smart technologies have the potential to support humanitarian efforts in unprecedented ways, but without protective mechanisms, they may become a pressure tool rather than a support instrument.&#8221;<\/em> He emphasized that <em data-start=\"1438\" data-end=\"1699\">&#8220;the Organization is working diligently to serve as a primary liaison and coordinator with international bodies and AI companies, ensuring that these tools are deployed to serve humanity first and protect it before any technical or operational consideration.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1725\"><strong data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1723\">Recommendations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"2235\">\n<li data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1830\">\n<p data-start=\"1729\" data-end=\"1830\">Enhance transparency and ethical standards in the use of AI tools within humanitarian environments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"1965\">\n<p data-start=\"1834\" data-end=\"1965\">Sign memoranda of understanding with AI developers to ensure their commitment to human rights in designing and using these tools.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1966\" data-end=\"2086\">\n<p data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2086\">Support and fund technological projects that responsibly integrate AI to serve refugees and vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2087\" data-end=\"2235\">\n<p data-start=\"2090\" data-end=\"2235\">Involve civil society organizations and academic institutions in formulating fair technology policies focused on protection and accountability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"2237\" data-end=\"2559\"><strong data-start=\"2237\" data-end=\"2252\">Conclusion:<\/strong><br data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2255\" \/>The International Organization for Human Rights and Refugee Affairs calls for a collective and responsible action by all stakeholders to establish clear and equitable foundations for the use of AI in humanitarian work.
